Northside Fresh is a coalition of individuals and organizations working together to make affordable, healthy food available and accessible in North Minneapolis—food that reflects the cultures and traditions of people in this community. We are working to increase healthy eating in North Minneapolis by a) improving access to and the availability of fresh produce; b) through cross generational and cross cultural programming; c) through physical changes to the community; and d) through formulating and advocating for policies that will lead to improvements in the North Minneapolis food environment.
