The Healthy Eating Minnesota Network is based on the idea that in-person and online collaboration can catalyze knowledge exchange, networking, and coalition building around healthy eating and healthy food access in Minnesota.
This site is moderated by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. Following are the terms of use:
Healthy Eating Minnesota online communities:
- Welcome open and honest communication
- Welcome conversations of opposing points of view
- Are an open space for dialogue
- Will be good stewards in fostering dialogue and discussion
Posts will be deleted if they:
- Demean any person or group of persons based on their race, disability, sex, creed, national origin, religious affiliation, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, language, or any other immutable trait
- Are advertisements or spam
- Include explicit, profane comments
- Include personal attacks of anyone inside or outside the community
Posts of the following nature will receive a warning:
- Comments that are only intended to be argumentative and out of context or hurtful. If the warning is not complied with, the post may be removed. If subsequent posts are made, the user might be banned from the community
All materials and comments posted by users must comply with Ning’s Terms of Use. Blue Cross does not monitor every posting on this site. Users may not post any comments or material that falls into any of the following categories and may have removed any comments or materials that:
- Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
- Publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent, misleading or unlawful material or information.

- Upload or attach files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer.
- Delete any author attributions, legal notices or proprietary designations or labels in any file that is uploaded.
- Falsify the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.
- Advertise or offer to sell any goods or services, or conduct or forward surveys, contests, or chain letters.
- Download any file posted by another user of a forum that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner.
