Laughing Loon Farm is a diversified, sustainable vegetable and herb farm in Northfield, MN. It sustained major damage in a flood and hailstorm last week--nearly 1/3rd of the farm was washed away. According to the farm, "We lost almost all of our peppers, half the eggplant, and many beds of beans, beets, spring mix, spinach and more. (Photos here and here.) The flood also destroyed many thousands of dollars of transplants, equipment and materials. Three days later during the evening of June 17th, golfball sized hail severely damaged the crops that weren’t washed away by the flood."

The hail pushed them from "really appreciating donations to really needing them, sadly." If you’d like to make a donation to help the farm replant and rebuild, check out their website here
