Only 65% of eligible Minnesotans are enrolled in SNAP. According to the USDA one of the most common reasons people do not participate is that they do not realize they are eligible. Efforts by public officials to promote SNAP can go a long way in letting folks know about it and this video by Sen Franken is great!
